Day 3 of the cabbage sop diet!

I cheated!!!

I am so embarrassed of my self! Yesterday was the 3 day of the soup diet. It was a day full of fruit, vegetable and the SOUP!! But I couldn't stop my self I ate a little bit of Peanuts. (I am telling you it was the best peanuts in my life.) Anyway I felt horrible and had to tell my boyfriend. 

The day was pretty hard to get though I had some melon for breakfast, soup for lunch and dinner + some broccoli. Honestly I am so over that soup. But day 4 will let me eat up to 8 bananas and as much milk I want. I don't like milk, but I am planning to make some shakers ( Milk, ice and banana) which is going to be great! 

I know I can do IT!!!!

The 7 days soup!

As I promised earlier here is the recipe I used for the soup. We have been 2 eating from it and it lasted for 3 days. Probably we haven’t been eating enough of it, so calculate with around 4 days for one person.

The soup is really simple to make, all you need is:
- 6 large green onions (also called “spring onions”)
- 1 green pepper
- 2 cans of tomatoes
- 4 carrots
- 1 container of mushrooms (you can easily do it without)
- 1 bunch of celery
- Half a head of cabbage
- 2 cubes of bouillon
- 1 teaspoon curry
- 1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions
1. Slice green onions, put in a pot on medium heat and start to sauté with cooking spray. Do this until the onions are whiter/clearer in color (about 4-6 minutes).
2. Cut the green pepper into bite size pieces and add to pot.
3. Take the outer leafs layers off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, add to pot.
4. Clean carrots, mushrooms, and celery, cut into bite size pieces and toss them in. Add tomatoes now, too.
5. If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of curry and chili now.
6. For seasonings, you can use vegetable bouillon cubes.
7. Use about 12 cups of water, cover and put heat on low. Let soup simmer for a long time – about 2 hours or until vegetables are tender.

Day 2 of the soup cabbage diet


Potato day

Yes I made it to day 2 it wasn't easy. (Everything that is not allowed on the diet is what I really want to eat!)

Today the diet didn't allow any kind of fruit, instead you can eat as much of the soup and vegetable as u want. Plus for dinner I could have a baked potato with a little bit of butter! (I am not telling you that potato was the best in my life!! Not sure if I am just SOOOO tired of that soup or if the potato really was so AMAZING...)


It felt so much easier to get though day 2 even though I really missed my fruit in the morning. I think what really helped today, was the fact that I the whole day was looking forward to eat my baked potato for dinner. I probably didn't eat as much soup as I should have but I did my best!

Not to fall in today was hard. The fridge is full of good stuff that I would love to eat. Luckily i have an amazing boyfriend that keeps me on the right track. It really helps that we are both on the diet as we are eating the same!

I was still a bit dizzy today, but nothing compared to yesterday, just like my headache was gone.(Still missing my Coke Zero though!)
Tomorrow is (hopefully) going to be easier. I will be able to eat both fruit and vegetable!

Cabbage soup

First day of the Cabbage soup diet!

So yesterday I started my cabage soup diet.
It was super easy to make the soup, even though it smelts horrible! I promise later to uploaded the recipe and pictures of the soup. (Nothing impressing though)

The diet is pretty simple, you have to follow it for 7 days and it should give you a good weight loss and clean you inside ;). You have to eat the soup everyday but else it changes between eating fruits, vegetable and meet on the last few day. (I can't wait for a piece of meet)!
  
So on my first day I could eat as much soup and fruits as I wanted (except bananas). The soup was okay the first time, but after eating it for lunch and dinner I feel like throwing up just knowing that I will be eating it for 6 more day! :) (haha Wish me luck)!

For me the hardest thing about a diet is not being allowed to drink my Coke Zero. Seriously I am a coke abuser. Which gives me so bad headaches when I don't drink it. (or so I think!). Another hard thing is not being able to eat what ever there is in the fridge, (even the healthy things) because this diet only allows you to eat a few specific things. The diet has been a lot harder than I was expecting. (and I am only on day 2!!!!) I am hanging in there and hope to see a good result on Monday. I know I am going to success thanks to my boyfriend he is not letting me quit!

The day before my project starts!

Here is a little introduction of my past weight loss projects. 
I have struggled with my weight since I was around 8 years old. That have taking me though a lots of different diets all with the same result, a weight loss followed by a huge weight gain! (I am so done with that)!
Doing my high school years I struggled a lot with my weight. I mean who finds it funny to be fat and teen at the same time?! Actually I did loss weight, 20kg to be precis. But 8 month later I was back on my old weight once a gain I felt like the fat won. 
After high school I went to the US as an Au pair, and once a gain I lost 12 kg and I felt great! I was so lucky that I could go to the gym everyday and so I did. When I left the state to move to Argentina with my boyfriend I started to gain weight once again! 
That has resulted a weight gain on 12 kg. in just half a year. (so sad and stupid trust me I know). 
Enough is enough and I am done being fat and so ready for getting in shape, make my body healthy and give my self confident a huge boom!! Project get healthy is about to start. 
It is not going to be easy with a scale that says 112kg and a goal saying 80 kg in a year which mean the 28.th of May 2013 but I am giving my self this huge challenge and you know what I can do it! ( I can't believe I for the first time ever told anyone about my weight, but guess what it is going to go DOWN!!) 
I am going to try different diets to quick start the weight loss together with a lots of work out! But this is not about a total diet it is about a life change that will last forever. 
To get my weight loss started and get my stomach clean I have choose to take a week on the Cabbage soup diet.
